Project Thread was my Final Major Project for my third year at university. My intention was to create a sustainable, upcycling brand to slow the effects of fast fashion. We would work as a sub-brand to Topshop, who would donate their waste material to us to create a range of unique, upcycled garments. Though the brand's main selling point was embroidered patches and an in-store embroidery service. Project Thread was promoted on Instagram, Tiktok and a main website, with the intention of attracting the most influential generation, Gen Z.
